Medium sized businesses have a board of directors.  This means the visionary and leader of the company have something small business owners do not have - Help.

We provide that help by handling tax and financial matters for you, so you can focus on sales and the running of your company.  We do this by setting up SIMPLE systems that take care of themselves so you don't get tied down with administrative duties that don't help you grow your company.

First - Setup:

We start at 10,000 feet by determining what your goals are, using the value of  your company as a guide.  Once we confirm your structure is setup properly (LLC, Corporation or Sole Proprietorship), we then get your tax filings setup so you are ready to go.  We quickly get down to ground level by getting your accounting software setup and ready to use.  90% of all small businesses use Quickbooks, so that is usually where we start. (We have both been Quickbooks Certified Pro-Advisors for over 10 years).  Finally, we either teach you to use it or assist you by preparing your payroll and/or payroll reports and completing your bookkeeping.

Second - Execution:

Once your system provides reliable data and solid financial reports, we sit down with you to make sure they are useful. Some clients don't need or want financial reports, they only need a tax return and they are done.  However, most clients would like to know their score real-time during the game (year) before it is over.  Tax planning is part of that process.

Third - Report the score / Make decisions:

We complete the accounting process and help you determine if you met your goals, and then sit down with you to assess what went right, what went wrong, and how to determine the next year's goals.  In short, we take care of your financial needs so you can plan ahead, focus on your company's performance and set YOUR vision for the future.

Fourth - Mergers and Acquisitions:

Sometimes your business needs more resources.  Or perhaps you are ready to retire.  Whether it's buying equipment, building real estate, or buying a company, we have significant experience in helping you.  This is often a once in a lifetime transaction and most small business owners need help.  We have done this before, both buying businesses for ourselves or helping clients to bring on new clients, personnel or resources.  We have also helped sell companies, both our own and those of our clients - including final negotiations.  Tax ramifications can be significant in these moments, so our expertise can save you thousands.  The price is only part of it - terms, security and financing are all part of the process.  We've been there.
